I need a fan. The tower fan I put in front me did absolutely nothing, and I was massively hot and sweaty by the end of it. Still, glad I got on the bike after a long and busy day at work.

I used two pairs of cycling shorts and lowered my saddle height. Both seemed to really help with the saddle sore. I’m writing this two days later after just completing two small sessions back to back and whilst I’m a touch saddle sore, it’s nothing like it was after that first ride. A little bit of reading before I tried doubling up on cycle shorts suggested that it might be a bad plan, but others just flat out said it helped. So I thought I’d give it a go and…well, it helped me. YMMV of course.
